I had some beers and smoked some weed with my buddies in my neighborhood and didn't see the cruiser while driving home. We clipped mirrors. He stopped me and made me do field tests right in front of my home. Joe was on top of everything from day one. I picked up a DUI in Vermont and was suspended by the MA RMV for 'out of state alcohol offense.' I was stopped in Dedham and charged with driving after suspension for OUI. I faced a mandatory 60 day jail sentence and additional one year license loss. Joe managed to convince the DA that that law doesn't apply to out of state OUI suspensions.  I ended up with no jail and no further license loss.  What more can I say?'

I was facing four charges. Joe didn't promise me the world or sugar coat anything. He told me he'd fully investigate the case before advising whether to go to trial. He laid out everything in three detailed written reports as clear as could be and told me I had a chance to win. Client found sleeping in running car. Strong odor of alcohol; repeated cop's questions back to him. Unsteady on feet. Once retained, I immediately submitted a motion to preserve the booking video [frequently deleted after 30 days]. It showed him walking normally cuffed behind his back and speaking completely normally. After playing it for the judge, we got a not guilty and the judge restored his license the same day.

I decided to attack my client's Registry imposed suspension for over limit breath test. I had the Police fax me 21 pages of documents which I scrutinized over the weekend, discovering the test machine's calibration was wrong. We went back to Court immediately and the DA didn't even try to oppose my Motion.
